            5.1                   CUMBERLAND COUNTY FIRE/RESCUE AND EMS COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS

 

                                    The Fire/Rescue and EMS Communications Radio Systems are licensed to the County of Cumberland by the Federal Communications Commission, in accordance with Volume V, Part 90, Rules and Regulations.  The use of Cumberland County's Communications Systems must be confined to the limitations of the license and in strict accordance to the procedures contained within this Communications Procedural Manual.

5.5             CONVENTIONAL RADIO USE LIMITATIONS

 

The use of Cumberland County conventional radio channels by Cumberland County units must be confined to priority emergency use only. General communications and incident communications including statusing is not permitted on the conventional radio channels.
