Procedures
The Court Administrator's Office must receive onlinen notification a minimum of 48 hours prior to scheduling a video teleconference. Requests must be made through the web form:

For matters where the alternate location is not a prison or correctional facility, the requesting party must arrange and schedule the video teleconference with the remote site for the above-mentioned date and time and notify the Court Administrator that the arrangements have been made.
The court will test the equipment to ensure the connection.
During the Teleconference
A court employee will be present during the entire video teleconferencing. The court employee will be responsible for operating the camera in the courtroom and preprogramming camera shots with the approval of the presiding judge and all attorneys involved.
Fees
The fee is $150 per hour (1-59 minutes). The second hour begins five minutes after the first hour is complete.
Payment
The requesting party must submit their check made out to the Cumberland County Prothonotary. The check must be received a minimum of 48 hours prior to the scheduled video teleconference. This check will be used as a down payment. If a video teleconference lasts more than one hour, the Prothonotary will send a bill for the additional hourly fee. There is no cancellation fee. If the requesting party must cancel, the check will be returned to them.
