Special Hazards Operations Team (SHOT) - Team 200
Special Hazards Operations Team (SHOT) is a state certified hazardous materials response service.  SHOT focuses on an integrated, multi-agency response capability to provide response to hazardous materials incidents. 

Trained personnel and specialized equipment respond with technical assistance, containment, control and decontamination equipment.  SHOT provides response coverage to Adams, Cumberland, Franklin, Fulton and Perry Counties.

Sounds like something you might be interested in?  Being a member of the team does not require you to suit up and do entry.  The team also needs personnel for logistics and referencing of chemicals.  However, all team members must complete Operations Level Training.
