2008 Electronics Recycling Event










The Cumberland County Recycling & Waste Authority promotes the recycling of consumer electronic discards through its Consumer Electronics Recycling Program.  By participating in this program, Cumberland County residents can drop off, at a designated location and time, unwanted and unused consumer electronics for the salvage and recycling of their components, including plastics, metals, and glass.

The following consumer electronics are accepted:

mainframe computer equipment
remote controls
camcorders microwaves scanners
CD players
mobile phones
stereos
copiers
modems
tape players
CPUs monitors telephones and telephone equipment
duplicators mice televisions
DVD players
pagers transparency makers
fax machines
peripherals uninterrupted power supply (UPS) systems
hard drives
printers VCRs
keyboards
printed circuit boards word processors
laptops
radios

2009 Consumer Electronics Recycling Program Details
The 2009 Computer & Electronics Recycling Program will consist of a two-day drop-off event held at the location and on the dates and during the times listed below.  Residents must bring acceptable materials to the event.  CCR&WA does not offer any pick-up services.  Participants may be asked to show identification.
