Cumberland County Children & Youth Services is a public social services agency entrusted with the mission of protecting children, preserving families and promoting well-being.
Screening of all new referrals, investigating child abuse and neglect, providing family assessments, helping families locate and gain access to community services.

Intensive In-Home Services
in strengthening family relationships, increasing parenting skills and
parent confidence and decreasing the need for out of home placements.
services to families and children by temporarily placing the children
outside their homes in kinship, foster or group care facilities. These
services are provided to assist children to return to their own homes or
to establish a permanent plan for the child.
Consists of three areas of service. Independent Living, Adoption and Foster Parenting.
