In addition to the energy initiatives, the Facilities Management administrative group works with its utility providers to assure appropriate rate plans. The energy usage in each building is monitored and rate plans are adapted accordingly. Utility accounts managed by the Facilities Management Department are currently serviced by: PPL, UGI, Carlisle Borough and Middlesex Township Municipal Authority. Secondary electric and gas suppliers are currently contracted through agreements with an Energy Consultant/Management Firm. Rate plans are reviewed and considered based upon the suppliers ability to meet government purchasing requirements and accommodate County processes. Agreements must be reviewed by the Solicitor’s office and formally approved by the County Board of Commissioners. Rate plan offers should be directed via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
