Cumberland County Veterans Organizations have developed a list of Memorial Day Events scheduled throughout the County. Please take some time to attend one or more of the events listed below.

Memorial Day Observance | Newburg . Newburg Memorial Day Committee will hold their annual Memorial Day Observance with morning worship service at 10:40am on the Monument Green. The Memorial Day Parade will move through town promptly at 2pm.
Inclement Weather: Parade will be cancelled and the Memorial Service will be held at the Newburg UM Church, 203 N. High Street |

May 25 11am | Memorial Day Service | Hampden Township . Veterans Recognition Committee will hold the annual Memorial Day Service beginning at 11am at the
Hampden Township Veterans Park, 4345 Marketplace Way, Enola. This year the 75th anniversary of WWII will be remembered. Veterans are invited to wear their uniforms or service ribbons. Cumberland Valley High School Brass Ensemble will provide music. Taps will be sounded by Staff Sargeant John Powlison of the U.S. Army Band, 'Pershing's Own.' Emcee: R.J. Harris Inclement Weather: Service will be held in the community room at the Good Hope Fire Station |

Memorial Day Parade & Picnic |
Boiling Springs . Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8851 will hold their annual Memorial Day Parade and picnic. The
Parade will start promptly at 1pm and end at the Memorial Clock
Tower at Children's Lake where ceremonies will be held. The Cumberland County Honor Guard will provide a
firing detail. A picnic will be held immediately following the parade in the Boiling Springs Tavern parking lot. |

Memorial Day Parade & Service |
Camp Hill . American Legion Post 43 will hold a Memorial Day Parade beginning at 9:30am. The parade
will start at 19th and Market Streets and continue to the Fire Hall. A service will follow at 11am at the Camp Hill Cemetery behind the Fire Hall at 2145 Walnut Street, Camp Hill. |

9:30 am. Inclement Weather: Parade will be cancelled and the ceremonies will be held in the Old Courthouse |

Cemetery off Winding Hill Road in Mechanicsburg. |

Newville . Joint Veterans Council of Newville will hold a Memorial Day Parade starting at 1pm.
Memorial Day Services will immediately follow the parade at the Fountain at the Veterans Memorial. The service will honor Veternans by placing a wreath at the Memorial, giving out Hometown Heroes banners, and playing taps. |

Memorial Day Ceremonies & Parade | Shippensburg . Joint Veterans Council of Shippensburg will hold their annual Memorial Day
Ceremonies and Parade beginning at 10am at Locust Grove Cemetery, followed by services at Spring Hill
Cemetery at 11am and flag raising ceremony at Shippensburg Veterans Memorial Park at 12pm. At
1:15pm the Navy & Marine Memorial Services will be conducted at Branch Bridge on King Street. The
Parade will begin at 2pm from the corner of King and Prince Streets. |
