Cumberland County Adult Probation COVID-19 Updates

The Adult Probation Department is committed to helping protect and serve our community . . . 

As our department and Cumberland County take appropriate precautions to protect the health and well-being of our employees and members of our communities, we want to inform the public of the following temporary operational changes.

The Cumberland County Courthouse and all county government facilities are open regular hours, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. by appointment only. Residents should call the office in which they are conducting business prior to arriving to make an appointment. To contact one of our offices, visit our business directory.

Residents doing business with Cumberland County government must wear a mask at all times and practice social distancing when in the courthouse, and any county facility.

County Exceptions:

Cumberland County Courts - The Cumberland County Court of Common Pleas and all District Courts remain open to the public for official business with limitations and COVID-19 mitigation efforts in place. 

Cumberland County Prison - All in person visitation has been closed until further notice. This decision will be re-evaluated every two weeks.

Claremont Nursing & Rehabilitation Center - Closed to visitors, with the exception of end-of-life circumstances.

The Cumberland County Adult Probation Department operates under the direction of the President Judge.  Our office remains open by appointment only or for circumstances that meet the exceptions of Cumberland County Courts official business explained above.
